Abstract
Different formulations of deltamethrin, cypermethrin and permethrin we re mixed in the culture medium to determine their toxicity against Dro sophila melanogaster. The LC50 values of these pyrethroid compounds af ter 24 hours of treatment, were found to be 0.36, 4, 13, 16 and 51 ppm for cypermethrin, Cooper (permethrin + PBO), permethrin without PBO ( permethrin alone), deltamethrin and the BHC formulation, respectively.
