Abstract
We report the results of exposing eight different avalanche photodiode s from two manufacturers to a fast neutron field produced by Cf-252 at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). The effects of this type of rad iation on the intrinsic dark currents of the devices for fluences up t o 10(13) neutrons/cm(2) are shown and discussed.
