Abstract
This paper is devoted to nonlinear dynamic modelling of electric loads . A composite dynamic-static model proposed in [11] is further develop ed. This model represents both dynamic and static load characteristics . Meanwhile, it includes the effect of voltage angle on transient acti ve power. The second contribution of this paper is to provide a parame ter estimation approach using genetic algorithms. This new approach is proven to be simple yet powerful.
