J. Hrib et al., BIOCHEMICAL DIFFERENCES BETWEEN NORMAL CALLUS AND EMBRYOGENIC SUSPENSOR MASS OF SILVER FIR, Biologia plantarum, 39(4), 1997, pp. 507-513
Normal callus and embryogenic suspensor mass (ESM) were induced from t
he same immature embryo of Abies alba Mill. These two tissues were fou
nd to differ in their isoenzyme patterns of peroxidase, glutamate dehy
drogenase and non-specific esterase and in their requirement for myo-i
nositol in culture medium.
