Abstract
A cobalt-catalyzed combinatorial synthesis of various beta-phenylisose rine derivatives is described. This methodology is applied to a one-po t synthesis of pyrrolidine-containing alpha-hydroxyamide core structur e, beta-phenylisoserine-valine dipeptide isostere and alpha-acetyl- or alpha-hydroxyethyl-beta-amino acid derivatives.
