Abstract
Both short-term and continuous red radiation stimulated while far red radiation inhibited growth and ethylene production in Chlorella pyreno idosa. Kinetin and linuron also affected culture density and ethylene production, depending on their concentration. Phytochrome might partic ipated in the regulation of growth and ethylene production.
