Abstract
A 24-year-old primigravid woman with congenital hepatic fibrosis assoc iated with cavernous transformation of the portal vein is described. A lthough the neonate could not survive because of the ileal atresia, th e pregnancy and delivery did not pose a significant threat to the moth er.
