Abstract
An enantioselective synthesis of the C(1)-C(11) subunit of the iejimal ides has been accomplished through a combination of an asymmetric Home r-Wadsworth-Emmons condensation and a chiral pool approach. (C) 1997 E lsevier Science Ltd.
