Ii. Gusarov et al., THE GENES FOR RIBOFLAVIN BIOSYNTHESIS IN BACILLUS-AMYLOLIQUEFACIENS -PRIMARY STRUCTURE, ORGANIZATION, AND REGULATION, Molecular biology, 31(3), 1997, pp. 370-376
The Nucleotide sequence of a 4286-nt fragment of Bacillus amyloliquefa
ciens chromosome was analyzed. The live structural genes for riboflavi
n biosynthesis were shown to form a linkage group similar in structure
to the riboflavin operon of B. subtilis. Cross-regulation of riboflav
in biosynthesis in B. subtilis and B. amyloliquefaciens allows a commo
n mechanism of transcription regulation to be assumed.
