Abstract
A reaction loss model to calculate the depletion of fuel ions in fusio n plasmas is presented. The proposed model is energy dependent and the refore the particle losses at different energies are calculated accura tely. The Fokker-Planck equations have been solved, including the fusi on reaction loss term, to simulate D-T plasmas. The suggested approach has also been compared with another model used elsewhere.
