Abstract
The 9.4 GHz CW-EPR of gamma-irradiated DCA-piperidine has been studied from 123 to 293 K. It was found that the hyperfine splitting (HFS) re sonance line width varied with the temperature and exhibited anomalous behaviour near 204 K indicative of a structural phase transition. It is suggested that this behaviour may be due to the effect of the proto n dynamics on the spin-lattice relaxation time. It was also found that the total HFS decreased from 9.70(6) to 9.20(6) mT in the temperature interval from 263 to 163 K.
