Abstract
The dependence of the rate of the reaction of XeO4 with Hz at room tem perature on the concentrations of the reagents H-2 and XeO4 and diluen t gases He, O-2, and CO2 is investigated. A reaction mechanism that in cludes the stages involving vibrationally excited (OH)-O-. radicals is proposed to explain different effects of additives.
