Abstract
In this article, the clinical, angiographic, and postmortem features o f unstable angina are reviewed and its pathogenesis is discussed, Coro nary plaque inflammation may play a key role in the pathogenesis of un stable angina and the evidence for this assertion is examined. Finally , the therapeutic implications of the involvement of inflammation in a cute coronary syndromes are outlined, (C) 1997 by Excerpta Medica, Inc .
