Sa. Simanova et al., SORPTION RECOVERY OF MERCURY FROM NITRIC-ACID SOLUTIONS BY FIBROUS SORBENTS BASED ON POLYACRYLONITRILE, Russian journal of applied chemistry, 70(2), 1997, pp. 219-223
The sorption properties of GLIPAN-type polyacrylonitrile-based fibrous
sorbents modified by various polyamines and of MSPVA fibers, thioamid
ated copolymers of polyvinyl alcohol and polyacrylonitrile, were studi
ed with respect to nitric acid solutions of mercury(II). The kinetic a
nd capacity characteristics were determined, and the composition of me
rcury(II) compounds in the fiber phase was evaluated.
