Abstract
A numerical model of the hydrodynamic instability of longshore current s generated in the surf-zone by not normal incident sea waves is propo sed. As a result of the numerical analysis, of the Orr-Zommerfeld equa tion the contribution of the horizontal turbulent viscosity in to inst ability processes and hydraulic limits determining the realization of different types of the hydrodynamic instability in the surf-zone are e stimated, The results of calculations by different models obtained by the authors are compared with field and laboratory data.
