Abstract
The problem of determining the elastoplastic properties of a bimetalli c and hollow bar from the experimentally given relation between torsio nal moments and torsion angles is considered. This problem leads to th e minimization problem for a certain functional. A numerical example i s presented, allowing for the verification of the accuracy of the prop osed procedure.
