Abstract
The clinical,radiologic, sonographic and histopathologic findings of i solated splenic torsion in the dog are described with the help of eigh t case reports. Special emphasis is placed on the significance of B-Mo de and Color Doppler Imaging which facilitated diagnosis in all of the se cases. Possible causes of splenic torsion and the different diagnos tic measures are discussed.
