Abstract
Endoscopy is a reference method to be used for describing and quantify ing the lesions which characterise a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory d rug-induced gastropathy, so that a figure can be put to the threshold, as this is a vital step when studying the gastric tolerance on non-st eroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. The study carried out shows an excell ent gastric tolerance to tolfenamic acid in the course of prolonged tr eatment opening highly interesting therapeutic prospects.
