Abstract
The synthesis of 7-bromo-5-[I-123]-iodokynurenic acid is described. Th e tracer was prepared using a nucleophilic non-isotopic exchange react ion from the corresponding bromo derivative. Optimisation of the react ion parameters and HPLC purification were performed and the radiotrace r was obtained in a chemical and radiochemical purity > 95% and a spec ific activity of 235 Ci/mu mol.
