AC-PHOTOCONDUCTIVITY MEASUREMENT OF C60 EPITAXIAL FILM

Band gap structure of C60 film coated by Au electrode is reported acco rding to the AC-photoconductivity spectra. Applying bias voltage throu gh the Au electrodes has verified Schottky barrier height of about 2 V . The spectra of the phase indicate that band gap has 1.85 eV at 300 K . With decreasing temperature, the magnitude of the gap expands to 1.9 1 eV at around 250 K corresponding to the structure change of C60 crys tal.
