Abstract
The x-ray diffraction spectra of Li2B4O7 single crystals are investiga ted in the temperature range 80-300 K, and the lattice parameter c is determined in the same temperature range in the presence of a periodic ally varying temperature field. An incommensurate phase is not observe d anywhere in the temperature range investigated, regardless of whethe r the crystals are subjected to a periodic temperature field.
