Part of an article is summarized that discusses Lorentzian matrices in detail and refutes an argument by Galeczki in which he claimed an inc onsistency in the kinematics of the special theory of relativity (KSTR ). He has recently published a new argument against KSTR, but this is again fallacious, although his article certainly contains food for tho ught regarding STR as such. Also, a reply is given to a question asked by Phipps concerning a paper on the self-consistency of KSTR. Reasons for ''doubting Thomas'' are presented.
