QUARKONIUM PRODUCTION AT D0

We present results on inclusive J/psi production in the central and fo rward regions and Upsilon production in the central region using dimuo n data collected with the D empty set detector during the 1992-1995 Te vatron collider run. Using muon impact parameters we have estimated th e fraction of J/psi mesons coming from B meson decays and inferred the inclusive b production cross section. We have also obtained the fract ion of J/psi events resulting from radiative decays of chi(c) states. We discuss the implications of our measurements for quarkonium product ion processes.
