Abstract
The combination of clarithromycin and pyrazinamide was found to be syn ergistic against Mycobacterium tuberculosis in human macrophages. MICs were four-to eightfold lower for this combination than they were for either drug alone. Clarithromycin and rifampin, however, had only an a dditive effect.
