Abstract
Employing the symmetric uncertain dichotomous choice model, we establi sh in this note two properties of the marginal contribution of an indi vidual's decisional skill to the collective decisional quality. First, this marginal contribution-is independent of the individual's decisio nal skill and, second, it increases with his relative ranking by decis ional skill. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
