T. Grande et al., THE RELATIONSHIP AXIS WITHIN THE OPERATIONALIZED PSYCHODYNAMIC DIAGNOSIS (OPD) - CONCEPT AND CLINICAL USE, Zeitschrift fur Psycho-somatische Medizin und Psychoanalyse, 43(3), 1997, pp. 280-296
The paper presents the axis II ''relationship'' of the Operationalized
Psychodynamic Diagnosis. This instrument makes it possible, to analyz
e problematic relationship patterns from two different points of view:
From the perspective of the patient and from the perspective of his i
nteractional partners, likewise the interviewer. There are characteris
tic differences between these perspectives, which can be used for the
understanding of the psychodynamics of the patient and for a formulati
on of an interpersonal focus for the psychotherapy. We also report on
selected results regarding the reliability of the relationship rating
and we discuss potential problems concerning the application of the in
strument.
