Abstract
Cryptococcus neoformans is an opportunistic pathogen infecting AIDS pa tients. However, infection caused by C. neoformans var. gattii in AIDS patients is reportedly rare. We report herein the first culture prove n C. neoformans var. gattii serotype B infection in an AIDS patient in India.
