Abstract
A functionalized phthalocyaninato-polysiloxane 1 has been synthesized as part of a strategy for building oriented conducting polymers! which employ compounds of type 1 as matrices, in a Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) s upramolecular architecture. The formation of mixed LB films composed o f 1 and complementary organic acids of different pK(a) values has been carried out and the in-plane orientation of the molecules studied.
