Abstract
A nailed soil wall curved in plan was modelled in three-dimensions by the finite element met:lod for construction, service and ultimate load ing conditions. The behaviour of the nailed soil wall, the soil-nail i nteraction, the role of the reinforcement, and the overall and interna l failure mechanisms were investigated.
