Abstract
We present a patient with sotalol-induced polymorphic ventricular tach ycardia that was seen only with programmed ventricular stimulation. El ectrophysiologic studies performed prior to initiation of sotalol ther apy revealed inducible monomorphic ventricular tachycardia. Possible u nderlying electrophysiologic mechanisms are discussed.
