Abstract
Thin film transmission spectra of binary solutions of pentachloropheno l in pyridine were measured in the 4200-500 cm-1 range. From these dat a the spectra of both components of the complex refractive index and o f the complex electric permittivity were obtained in the studied IR re gion. The molar vibrational polarization of the H-bonded complex was d etermined and compared with data obtained from previously studied pent achlorophenol complexes.
