Abstract
We report a case of amiodarone induced torsades de pointes (TdP) assoc iated with increase QT dispersion in a patient with a history of quini dine induced TdP. An increase in QT dispersion of >100% was noted on t he 12 lead surface ECG postaminodarone therapy. In summary, amiodarone has a potential to induce TdP in patients with a previous history of quinidine induced TdP. ar dispersion could be a potential marker of Td P in these patients.
