Abstract
Preliminary results on thick-film wide-bore (0.53 mm i.d.) columns for GC preparation of pure enantiomers are described. In particular the l oading capacity for several racemates of a 3 mu m, 30% 2,6-di-O-methyl -3-O-pentyl-beta-CD/OV1701 column and of a 2 mu m, 30% -O-acetyl-6-O-d imethyl-t-butylsilyl-beta-CD/PS-086 column were determined. Considerat ion is also given to the relationship between resolution values of two enantiomers on analytical columns and their loading capacity and scal ing-up to the corresponding micropreparative columns.
