A computerized instrumentation system is described designed for studyi
ng dependences of thermal and structural characteristics of cryocrysta
ls on the parameters of cryodeposition in a temperature range from 10
to 250 K and pressures of 10(-5)-10(-1) Pa. The system was used for me
asurements of the growth rate, density, and refractive indices of vacu
um condensates of several gases. During structural investigations, pha
se transitions in nitrous oxide and heavy water cryocrystals were reve
aled.
