Abstract
Decomposition of the Nernst-Planck-Poisson system is carried out. Equa tions are derived for the electrical held strength in binary, ternary, quaternary, pentamerous, and hexamerous electrolytes. Being concentra tion-independent, the equations allow one to design effective numerica l and asymptotic solution algorithms. A complete set of the decomposit ion equations is reported.
