Abstract
A mathematical model is proposed for rechargeable redox batteries base d on the Zn-K3Fe(CN)(6) system. The kinetic regularities governing the principal and side electrochemical processes and the transport proces ses are described by empirical functions. A unit element of the batter y is considered as a system with distributed parameters whose state va ries continuously in successive charge and discharge cycles conducted at a constant voltage. Relationships between the kinetic characteristi cs of partial processes in the course of cycling are discussed.
