Abstract
The multifractal moments with suppressed statistical contributions hav e been investigated in interactions of 800 GeV protons with emulsion n uclei in one- (eta/phi) and two-dimensional (eta-phi) spaces in differ ent multiplicity intervals. The scaled factorial moments have also bee n determined and the relationship between the fractal indices and the intermittency indices discussed. The dependence of generalized dimensi ons on order gives clear evidence of a self-similar cascade mechanism in the interactions.
