Abstract
We report on a 37-year-old female who suffered a left lateral medullar y stroke with ipsilateral eye deviation which improved after the admin istration of low-dose phenytoin. The mechanism of the gaze disturbance and the presumed therapeutic effect of phenytoin are further discusse d.
