GLOBAL TREATMENT OF CHROMATOGRAPHIC DATA WITH MICHROM

The program MICHROM for the general treatment of chromatographic data is presented. MICHROM takes part in all the stages of the analytical p rocess. It allows determination of dead time, smoothing of chromatogra ms, measurement of peak parameters, fitting of skewed peaks, and decon volution of overlapped peaks. Tools for the experimental design, optim ization of the mobile phase composition to resolve a mixture of analyt es, and simulation of chromatograms in several experimental conditions , are implemented. Routines for the graphical representation of chroma tograms, resolution surfaces, contour maps, management of data series, optimization and regression analysis, are also included. The resoluti on of chromatographic problems of diverse nature and complexity is pos sible.
