Abstract
The results presented in this Note deal with the existence problem of minimal or pluriharmonic isometric immersions between Riemannian manif olds. We show that this problem is related to the existence of non van ishing parallel 2-forms on the source manifold, and to the sign of the complex sectional curvature of the target manifold.
