Abstract
In this paper, we obtain three types of Backlund transformations on su rfaces with (k(1) - m)(k(2) - m) = +/- l(2) in three-dimensional Minko wski space R-2,R-1, where k(1) and k(2) are principal curvatures, m(gr eater than or equal to 0) and l(> 0) are arbitrary constants. Using th ese transformations, one can construct families of surfaces with (k(1) - m)(k(2) - m) = +/- l(2) in R-2,R-1 from known ones.
