Abstract
Two new ferrocene receptors bind to a series of neutral carboxylic aci d guests via hydrogen bonding interactions; complexation induces a sig nificant change in the electronic properties of the proximate ferrocen e units, as evidenced by the recognition of these neutral guests by cy clic voltammetry.
