Abstract
It has been shown that a self-organizing neural network can be assembl ed with a single instar neuron to provide a method for the efficient a nalysis of biological data. The method properly models the affinities of the selected compounds to the CBG, TBG (corticosteroid and testoste rone binding globulins) and sweet taste receptor-sites. The influence of some parameters on the efficiency of the network has been analysed and alternative statistical analysis of the atomic coordinates and cha rges has been performed.
