Abstract
New examples of Diels-Alder reactions involving 1,3-disubstituted 1,3- dienylboronates are reported. Various dienophiles were tested. With me thyl acrylate as the dienophile, lower reaction temperature, shorter r eaction time and better stereocontrol have been reached with the use o f a steochiometric amount of Lewis acid EtAlCl2.
