Abstract
The acid-base titration of electrolytes and their mixtures in homogene ous systems has been studied in great detail, A method for prior estim ation of the applicability of such titration to quantitative determina tions was developed [1-3], However, titration in actual practice is fr equently accompanied by the formation of a new phase. The quantitative effect of this process on the jumps in titration curves has not been studied yet. In this work, the effect of precipitation in the titratio n of hydrochlorides of monoacid organic bases with strong bases has be en studied. This interaction is not attended with the formation of hyd roxo complexes, whereas the bases themselves appear to be the solid ph ase.
