SOME POSSIBILITIES OF IDENTIFYING C-1-C-4 HYDROCARBONS IN GAS-ADSORPTION CHROMATOGRAPHY WITH OPEN-TUBULAR COLUMN

Linear correlation dependences between the capacity factors of compoun ds obtained under particular conditions and the capacity factors of th e same compounds obtained on the same column, but under different cond itions of analysis (temperature and nature of the carrier gas), are re vealed with the example of the chromatography of C-1-C-4 hydrocarbons on an open tubular column with Al2O3/KCl. It is demonstrated that this dependence can be used for identifying the components of a mixture of unknown composition.
