Abstract
We present a straightforward model of the U(1) gauge equations of Dira c and Maxwell, as well as the U(n) Yang-Mills equations where all fiel ds and gauge transformations take values in a Clifford algebra. When e xpressed in terms of the Clifford components of the fields, the equati ons display various gauge symmetries which we investigate for all Clif ford algebras. In particular, for the Pauli algebra, the Dirac CA equa tions possess the SU(2)xU(1)-symmetry.
