Abstract
The elastic stress-strain state of a multi-sheet structure with a stra ight-through transverse curvilinear crack is under investigation. The structure is made up of several plates and is loaded so that in each o f its sheets the stress intensity near the crack tip is a function of four rather than two linearly non-interdependent factors, owing to whi ch the structure with a crack under study differs fundamentally from a single plate with a crack. Asymptotic representations of the stresses and displacement components near the crack tip are given. Also, analy tical expressions for the invariant Rice-Cherepanov integrals are give n.
