The simultaneous determination of metasilicic, disilicic and trisilici
c acid in the heteropoly compound of silicic acid with molybdate was e
xamined by microcomputer kinetics spectrophotometry based on different
reaction rate of the metasilicic, disilicic and trisilicic acid with
molybdate to form heteropoly compound. The proposed method can be appl
ied to the simultaneous determination of metasilicic, disilicic and tr
isilicic acid in sugarcane with satisfactory results.
