Abstract
The molecular components of living organisms are mostly chiral (homoch iral) and their chirality plays a dominant role in their interaction w ith bioactive substances (drugs, flavours, herbicides, food additives, etc.). The enantiomers different pharmacological or toxicological res ponse are the reason of enantioseparation. It can be done by membrane enantioseparation techniques in up-and down-stream or on-line processe s.
